In addition to airdrops, Bonfire also allows users to build drag-and-drop storefronts and customized, token-gated webpages.
In terms of how this functionality can be used by creators, Bonfire opens up the ability to sell merchandise, access, and other items to specific users who have already bought into the token economy and hold tokens or NFTs via token-gating. This creates an element of exclusivity and interest for every drop or sale.
This is especially useful because Bonfire connects directly with Rally, automatically checking users’ token balances and NFTs before allowing them to view various pieces of content. Using straightforward, no-code technology, Bonfire has built out an easy way to incorporate merchandise and sales into your token strategy.
Using Bonfire’s page builder, creators can drag and drop blocks with various functionalities into the webpage. These blocks range from storefront blocks to email collection blocks, and some can be token-gated based on holding either a specific amount of creator coin or an NFT in your connected wallet.
Bonfire also allows you to drag-and-drop rich media blocks such as Spotify, Vimeo, and Youtube, and embed over two dozen types of content from Giphy to OpenSea.
There are also “Section” blocks, which are more powerful combinations of blocks with more robust opportunities to engage. Read more about blocks and sections on the Bonfire FAQ here.
Bonfire allows you to token-gate, or restrict access to, blocks and pages using Rally NFTs and tokens, or Ethereum NFTs and tokens. Their simple gating mechanism allows creators to choose if they want visitors to hold all or any of a set of specified assets, and then define which of the assets and in what quantity they must be held.
