Overview

Purchase Controls limit the amount of tokens that are purchased by each community member to manage the volatility of coin price.

These settings help keep coin price relatively stable during the period of time while creators are actively promoting their new coin to their community.

Settings

Purchase Control settings are as follows:

• Time Between Purchases - Set the time a user must wait between purchases (in days)
• Maximum Purchase - Set the maximum purchase amount per transaction (in dollars)
• Maximum Convert - Set the maximum amount an existing Rally user can convert-in from another Creator Coin or RLY per transaction (in dollars)
• Duration of Purchase Control Period - The total duration of the Purchase Control period (in days)

How to Enable Purchase Controls

1. Onboarding Form - The last section of the Onboarding Form will ask for your desired Purchase Control settings that will be active as soon as your coin goes live.

   Our recommendation is pre-populated on the Onboarding Form as follows:

   <aside> ⏳ A single transaction per day, up to $100 purchased per transaction, up to $35 converted-in per transaction, and with these settings in place for 28 days.

   You can also enter 0 on all the fields if you don't want Purchase Controls.

2. Email - Creators can request Purchase Controls be enabled for their token economy at any time. Email [email protected] with your request so Rally can configure.
